Sponge self-adhesive seals are the easiest to install because of the self-adhesive strip below the seal.
So,you don't need any special equipment, just a pair of scissors to cut the seals to the correct length.
Usually the hardness of this self-ashesive is 30 Shore A,very soft material. The self-adhesive seals are widely used in wooden door and window.
Before installation it's good to measure the gap you're weatherproofing.
If the door or window doesn't have an existing weatherstrip you can compare the new on to, one good way to find out the correct size is to insert blue tack into the gap, close the window or door and measure the width of the flattened blue tack. The correct size of the seal is 2-3 mm thicker than the flattened blue tack.
We extrude four profiles (E, P, D ,I) self-adhesive seals, four colours (white, brown, grey, black) and three different materials (EPDM, Neoprene and Silicone).
We also can custom design the sizes and shapes from the drawings or samples.
